Letter from our CEO and Board Chair

Dear Friends,

For more than 40 years, LA Family Housing (LAFH) has been leading the way home, thanks to the unwavering generosity of our donors, partners, and community. We are proud to report that 2025 was no exception. In the face of ongoing funding challenges and a growing need for services, we continued to deliver life-changing impact at scale, serving more than 16,000 people through a continuum of housing and supportive services designed to help individuals and families stabilize their lives.

Among them are 4,694 people who secured permanent housing through LAFH assistance, including housing we own or operate by LAFH; 7,170 people who received LAFH homelessness prevention and problem solving services to keep them in their home; and 7,034 people experiencing homelessness who accessed outreach, interim housing, and other essential services to begin moving from homelessness to home.

As you explore our 2025 Digital Impact Report, you will see that the year was defined by innovation, collaboration, and progress. Among the highlights, our outreach efforts contributed to reductions in homelessness on the LA Metro. We deepened clinical services across our sites to address the complex needs of participants; expanded partnerships with service providers throughout Los Angeles County to better serve our community; responded to the urgent needs of participants during the LA wildfires, thanks to generous disaster relief funding from partners; and opened two new permanent supportive housing communities with 171 homes, one of which reached full occupancy in record time.

Most importantly, we had the privilege of supporting individuals and families as they created transformative change in their lives. We hope you will read their stories to understand the profound impact of your generosity.

We are deeply grateful to our dedicated Board of Directors, talented colleagues, and, most importantly, you, our extraordinary community of supporters. Your partnership and belief in our mission make this work possible. Together, we are leading the way home for thousands of Angelenos experiencing homelessness.

With your continued support, LAFH will continue to prove that there are solutions to ending homelessness that work. Every day, we see the power of housing and supportive services to transform lives, strengthen communities, and create lasting pathways to stability. We are honored to have you alongside us as we build a future where everyone has a place to call home.

With gratitude,
